⚠ Flood Watch · until Mon 12:00 PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following areas, Aransas Islands, Bee, Coastal Aransas, Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal Refugio, Coastal San Patricio, Duval, Goliad, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland Refugio, Inland San Patricio, Jim Wells, Kleberg Islands, La Salle, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces Islands and Webb. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread forecast rainfall amounts of 2-5 inches will be common across South Texas. Isolated amounts of 7 to 9 inches remains a possibility, especially in the vicinity of training and slow moving storms. While soils will be able to absorb most of this moisture, the higher rainfall rates, slow storm motion, and training can quickly lead to localized, urban flooding and in locations with poor drainage. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

⚠ Coastal Flood Advisory · until Mon 3:00 AM

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents expected. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...Aransas Islands, Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands and Calhoun Islands Counties. * WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, from 6 AM CST this morning through late tonight. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from noon today to 3 AM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the most experienced swimmers away from shore into deeper water. These rip currents can become life-threatening to anyone entering the surf.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

Ranked by moon phase and tidal range at the nearest tide station (the stars). Wind and fronts can override the moon.

Reading the calendar: ↑ moonrise and ↓ moonset are local times. Stars are the solunar rating; “c” is the tide coefficient (20–120). Moon overhead and underfoot times are the major feeding periods, and moonrise and moonset are the minor ones; see each day on the tide pages.
